If you plan on 100% completing the game and the DLC, badinfos (ironic) has some great guides. If you want to spice up the colors, you can try this timecyc mod:, although there may be better alternatives, and I don't really recommend it anyways because the game is supposed to lack vibrant colors to fit the theme. I wouldn't recommend playing the game past 60 FPS, because if you can even do that, the game introduces some physics problems and should only be played at 60 FPS or lower. Your graphics settings should be mostly maxed out but turn down view distance to 25 and detail distance to 40 if you're looking to play with the best performance but also best graphics. I would also recommend installing the DXVK translation layer to make the game run using the Vulkan API, which will greatly increase performance and reduce frame drops.
